About the Role
The global ESG department is responsible for the worldwide management of all relevant ESG topics. As part of strategic expansion, we are looking for an experienced candidate with a focus on climate strategy and ESG reporting.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the further development of our global carbon accounting according to GHG Protocol and will support our SBTi objectives.
- You will implement and optimize our ESG and climate reporting in line with CSRD, ESRS, and EU Taxonomy.
- You will coordinate our ESG ratings (e.g., EcoVadis, CDP) and ensure a structured, consistent data basis.
- You will prepare decision-making bases and management presentations for the global management team.
- Additionally, you will provide targeted support for internal and external ESG communication measures.
Requirements
- You have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in ESG or sustainability management – ideally in an international corporate environment or in a consultancy with an ESG focus.
- You have sound knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting according to GHG Protocol and SBTi objectives.
- Ideally, you have actively managed or supported ESG ratings such as EcoVadis or CDP.
- You work in a structured, data-driven manner and possess strong reporting and analytical skills.
- You communicate confidently in German and English and prepare complex content for management in an audience-appropriate manner.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- You work independently, but also enjoy teamwork – with flexibility, organizational talent, and a clear focus on the essentials.
