About the Role
Create a safe, effective, and engaging fitness environment for club members and guests. Supervise exercise programs, educate members on proper techniques, and develop personalized fitness plans tailored to individual goals. Promote club services and facilities, ensuring a positive experience by consistently delivering Warm Welcomes, Magic Moments, and Fond Farewells.
Responsibilities
- Assist members and guests with exercise and fitness programs.
- Evaluate fitness needs and provide appropriate exercise programs, including personal instruction.
- Conduct and track new Member Fit Start appointments according to club standards.
- Connect with members regularly and promote fitness activities.
- Update fitness activities and programming on web pages or member communication boards.
- Promote facility amenities, programs, and the club with professionalism and service excellence.
- Maintain current fitness-related certifications, including CPR/AED, and seek new education opportunities.
- Complete daily assignments to uphold club standards and maintain organized workspaces.
- Process daily accounting procedures for personal training and group sessions accurately.
- Submit monthly forecasts for expected sessions, Fit Starts, and new client goals.
- Maintain an accurate schedule of availability.
- Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks assigned by management.
- Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and commitment to excellence in interactions.
- Follow safe working practices and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
- Take initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain required certifications.
- Address and resolve challenges using available resources and collaborate with regional and corporate teams.
- Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Fitness Trainer.
- Current personal training certification (ACSM, NASM, ACE, PTA Global, NFPT, ISSA, CSCS, or NSCA).
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification within the last 6 months.
- Certified group exercise instructor (AFAA or ACE).
