About the Role
This position plays a key role in all Food & Beverage Outlets, serving guests in a friendly and professional manner and ensuring all tasks are completed before a shift ends.
Responsibilities
- Provide clean and efficient food and beverage service to customers
- Provide customer service in a timely, helpful, friendly, calm, and professional manner
- Provide quality assurance to all patrons
- Stock bar for service
- Prepare necessary ingredients for cocktail service
- Polish all glassware, plates, and cutlery
- Serve guests seated at tables and at the bar
- Bus, clean, and reset tables
- Prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks
- Prepare and serve beverages from the menu or special guest requests
- Ensure work stations and sections are clean at the end of shift
- Keep tables, bar and restaurant area clean and organized throughout any shift
- Stock and organize necessary service items
- Organize empty bottles and cans for returns and move to appropriate storage area
- Keep waste organized and separated into Compostable, Trash, and Recycling
- Keep track of tabs, cash, float and sales money
- Communicate with manager(s) on relevant information
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed
- Complete any other necessary reasonable tasks when requested by management
- Provide guests with knowledge about the hotel and the city
- Comply with all Archive standards, policies and procedures
- Support positive morale, teamwork and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 1-2 years minimum experience in banquet/restaurant/bar/and hotel
- Must be legal age to serve alcohol
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a high volume environment
- Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
- Positive outlook and outgoing personality
- Able to stand/walk for long hours
- Must be Smart Serve certified
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job
