About the Role

Fotografiska Berlin is a contemporary museum of photography, art, and culture that opened in September 2023. It aims to inspire new perspectives and spark conversations through photography and contemporary art, serving as a vibrant cultural space where art, creativity, community, and cuisine converge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and efficient daily service operations
• Coordinate and prepare the team before each shift
• Actively support the service team during operations when needed
• Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and guest experience
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
• Support the optimization of workflows and service procedures
• Recruit, onboard, and support new employees
• Create and coordinate staff schedules and ensure proper staffing levels
• Conduct team meetings and communicate important information
• Motivate and develop team members through regular feedback and performance reviews
• Organize and conduct training sessions on product knowledge, service, and bar standards

Requirements

• Experience in the hospitality industry in a leadership position
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• High level of service orientation and professional demeanor
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and coordinate a team
• Resilience and flexibility in a dynamic work environment
• Sense of responsibility and independent working style
• Knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety standards
• Passion for hospitality, quality, and excellent service
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and events
