About the Role
Little Elms Peninsula is seeking Nursery Assistants and Nursery Nurses to work as bank staff, covering shifts on a zero-hours contract. This role is crucial for maintaining exceptional quality of care and education across our unique nurseries.
Responsibilities
- Support the team with the day-to-day routine and engage children in planned activities tailored to their interests and individual development.
- Report any safeguarding concerns to the management team or DSL.
- Adhere to Little Elms policies and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
Requirements
- A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years.
- Experience working in a nursery.
- An interest in working with young children (from 0-5 years).
- Must be a team player.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to use initiative.
- A passion for the Early Years.
- Must be subject to an Enhanced DBS Certificate and employment references.
- Must undertake online safeguarding training.
- All positions are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
