About the Role
The Restaurant Assistant Manager productively supervises restaurant Colleagues to ensure job responsibilities are performed, achieving customer satisfaction and profitability during their shift.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers correct and complete orders within service time goals, following established procedures.
- Prepare and ensure consistent, high-quality products are served to customers.
- Maintain proper image and adhere to company policies, procedures, and conduct standards.
- Clean and organize work stations, maintaining restaurant image standards and health department requirements.
- Perform cash management responsibilities and ensure colleague compliance with safety and security procedures.
- Provide direction, feedback, coaching, and counseling to Colleagues to ensure job duties are performed and company standards are met.
- Perform tasks related to food, paper, labor, and utility cost controls, monitoring shift activities for compliance.
- Complete all daily paperwork neatly and accurately.
- Follow all restaurant opening and closing procedures, handle unexpected occurrences, and notify appropriate parties promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Ability to lift and move 55 pounds.
- Ability to reach and move items from 6 feet high to 6 inches off the ground.
- Ability to perform 'Shakerboard' duties (working outside holding a sign).
- Ability to apply pressure for cutting products and cleaning equipment/utensils.
- Ability to count, separate, and weigh food products and inventory items.
- Ability to understand directions, instructions, and product specifications.
- Ability to process and complete customer orders.
- Ability to successfully pass required training programs for certification.
- Ability to comprehend training materials and practice standard operating procedures.
- Ability to legally drive an automobile, adhering to traffic laws.
- Previous experience in restaurants, retail, or customer contact (preferred).
- Dependable, hardworking, and able to work under pressure and in stressful situations.
- Successful completion of the 4-week Restaurant Assistant Manager Training Plan and solo open/close shift evaluations.
- Valid driver's license from state of residence with a driving record within company guidelines.
- Reliable vehicle and primary auto insurance for daily banking and other responsibilities.
- Meet Little Caesars Background Verification guidelines.
- Ability to provide documentation proving eligibility to work in the United States.
Skills
- Safe and correct operation of restaurant equipment (e.g., sheeter machine, VCM, sauce ladle, cash register).
- Effective verbal and interpersonal communication with customers and co-workers (reading, speaking, hearing, writing).
- Mathematical skills for computing sales totals, percentages, inventory usage, food orders, employee work schedules, cash handling results, and projected business needs.
- Ability to supervise and motivate multiple team members to meet goals and deadlines.
Work Type
- Standard schedule of approximately 20-30 hours per week
