About the Role
Lead the medical input to business strategic and operational planning for indications within the Lung Oncology portfolio, including the development of Medical Affairs plans. Drive delivery of clinical insight, customer focus, and clinical governance into Medical and Business Unit objectives. Deliver Indication Brand objectives and develop and execute pre-launch and peri-launch medical plans and activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong matrix leadership to the Therapy Area Medical Team.
- Contribute to a team environment that supports innovation, coaching, and mentoring.
- Develop and maintain scientific relationships with key customers.
- Leverage medical insight from internal and external customers into local evidence generation plans.
- Provide the medical direction for all brand-related activities.
- Provide expert medical input into key Market Access activities.
- Support AZ OBU to ensure all activities are conducted within appropriate regulatory and compliance frameworks.
Requirements
- Proven track record of leadership across medical affairs.
- Demonstrable strategic thinking, communication, and engagement skills.
- Demonstrable leadership and collaboration skills.
- Prior launch experience in a Medical Affairs role.
- Experience in oncology medicines.
- Extensive patient and customer insight through experience of working with the NHS or a similar national health care system.
- Proven ability to interact with external customers.
- Degree or equivalent experience in a related scientific field.
- Demonstrated ability to form strong cross-functional partnerships.
