About the Role

We are seeking a Store Design Senior Manager to lead the strategic development and execution of our boutique design vision across a network of over twenty locations nationwide. This role demands visionary leadership and hands-on management to ensure every boutique embodies our Maison's unique identity and global standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and grow the Store Design team in Japan, ensuring clarity of roles, efficient ways of working, and long-term capability building.
  • Create a strong team culture, encouraging innovation, collaboration, and resilience in a context of rapid business growth.
  • Drive large-scale projects from concept through delivery, by orchestrating internal & external stakeholders and ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Ensure elevating the client experience and the staff experience: boutiques must inspire clients while also providing teams with efficient, functional, and engaging workspaces.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading large-scale retail architecture projects in global and dynamic environments, from initial concept to successful delivery.
  • In-depth technical and architectural knowledge and competencies.
  • Proficiency in CAD and SketchUp.
  • Strong understanding of architecture-related laws and regulations.
  • People-oriented manager with a proven ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Fluent in Japanese (native level) and English (business level).
