About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in the planning of Deutsche Bahn AG's telecommunication systems at one of our specified locations in Germany. This position is for our sister company, Arcadis Mobility Germany GmbH.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized planning services for railway and telecommunication projects within the telecommunications sector.
• Coordinate with all trades involved in the planning project.
• Prepare cost estimates and determine costs.
• Participate in the awarding process.
• Develop technical concepts and conduct variant studies.
• Identify contractually owed services and distinguish them from services not contractually owed (additional claims).
• Attend site inspections.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Communications or Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in planning (railway) infrastructure projects, construction phases, and creating bills of quantities.
• Experience with planning tools such as AutoCAD, ProSig, ProVi, and Microstation.
• Knowledge of BIM.
• Strong technical and mathematical-physical understanding.
• Knowledge of railway operations and technology, as well as HOAI, VOB, and current legal regulations.
• Very good knowledge of German and English languages.
