About the Role
We are seeking a Planning Engineer Electrical Engineering Railway Infrastructure (w/m/d) for our sister company Arcadis Mobility Germany GmbH. This role involves planning Germany's largest railway infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct planning services for railway projects in electrical engineering / electrical energy systems in accordance with order, budget, and quality requirements.
- Plan new construction, conversion, or maintenance projects within a team.
- Perform specialized planning services: Planning in planning phases 1-7 and 9 (basic data acquisition, preliminary planning, design planning, support for approval planning, execution planning, tendering, participation in awarding).
- Create drawings, network calculations, service specifications, and technical explanations.
- Participate in coordination meetings with clients and third parties.
- Coordinate with all trades involved in the planning project.
- Review planning results from other project participants for plausibility, completeness, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
- Professional experience in planning (railway) infrastructure projects, in planning construction phases, and in creating service specifications.
- Experience with planning tools: AutoCAD, ProSig, possibly Eplan and MS Office.
- Strong awareness of quality, costs, and deadlines, as well as an analytical and results-oriented approach.
- Very good knowledge of the German language and good English skills.
