About the Role
As Senior Finance Manager at WIN, you will be responsible for the Finance department, covering Accounting, Financial Controlling, and Liquidity Management. You will work closely with the management team in Berlin, ensuring structured, reliable, and transparent financial management. Your role involves not just clean reporting, but also analysis and development, identifying connections, deriving recommendations, and continuously improving financial processes and structures.
Responsibilities
- Overall Finance responsibility: Management of the entire commercial area including accounting, financial controlling, liquidity planning, and reporting with a direct line to management (CEO/CFO).
- Closing & Reporting: Ensuring the proper and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple companies according to HGB.
- Budget Planning & Forecast: Creation and management of budget and forecast processes in close coordination with specialist departments and operational controlling, as well as deriving concrete measures for corporate management.
- Analysis & Management: Evaluation of key performance indicators, identification of optimization potential, and derivation of well-founded recommendations for management.
- Interface with external partners: Contact person for tax advisors, auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders.
- Process & System Development: Further development of financial processes, structures, and tools in the context of digital transformation, including automation and efficient system landscapes.
- Leadership & Team Development: Professional and disciplinary leadership and further development of the Finance team (currently 3 people).
Requirements
- Completed degree in Economics/Finance or a commercial apprenticeship with further training (e.g., Certified Accountant).
- Several years of relevant professional experience in finance, particularly in accounting and controlling – ideally in an agency environment.
- Sound knowledge of HGB and expertise in financial statement preparation.
- Ideally, initial leadership experience and enjoyment in developing a team.
- Hands-on mentality and proactive approach to tasks.
- Analytical, structured, and entrepreneurial thinking with the ability to present complex contexts clearly.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and DATEV, and proficiency in digital financial environments.
- Interest in developing processes and engaging with topics like digitalization and AI in finance.
