About the Role

The Optics department supports the marketing activities of contact lens, eyeglass, and related product manufacturers and distributors by proposing POS data and consumer research. The successful candidate will contribute to the department's business growth by engaging in a wide range of duties, including proposing research plans to clients, analyzing and presenting POS data and other consumer research findings, and enhancing the POS database based on client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Client interviews (manufacturers, distributors) and extraction of marketing issues
  • Proposal of POS data and marketing research to client companies
  • Creation of reports and presentations based on POS data and marketing research results
  • Coordination with domestic and international operations teams to control projects

Requirements

  • Over 2 years of professional experience (in a Japanese corporate organization)
  • Corporate sales experience
  • Business English proficiency (TOEIC score of 700 or higher is a guideline)
  • Interest in marketing research work

  • Experience in the eyeglass or contact lens industry
