About the Role
Support people with disability living in Supported Independent Living homes in Arncliffe and Gymea, providing personal care, stoma care, and manual handling. Transport clients using a wheelchair van and participate in their daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Follow and actively participate in person-centred active support plans
- Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans
- Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
- Maintain thorough record keeping
- Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
- Advocate for client choice and control
Requirements
- Experience with personal care and stoma care
- Ability to complete regular manual handling
- Confidence in driving a wheelchair van
- An unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.

- Permanent Part Time hourly rate from $34.58 plus Super
- Up to $15,900 of your annual salary tax free
