About the Role

Support people with disability living in Supported Independent Living homes in Arncliffe and Gymea, providing personal care, stoma care, and manual handling. Transport clients using a wheelchair van and participate in their daily activities.

Responsibilities

  • Follow and actively participate in person-centred active support plans
  • Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans
  • Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
  • Maintain thorough record keeping
  • Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
  • Advocate for client choice and control

Requirements

  • Experience with personal care and stoma care
  • Ability to complete regular manual handling
  • Confidence in driving a wheelchair van
  • An unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.

  • Up to $15,900 of your annual salary tax free
