About the Role
This position is an ideal opportunity for an experienced accountant to gain further development in financial accounting and reporting, requiring fundamental accounting knowledge, flexibility, accuracy, and a sound practical approach.
Responsibilities
- Expose strong responsibility for the integrity and management of accounting ledgers.
- Execute monthly / quarterly / annual closing based on US GAAP.
- Perform daily cash application and credit limit control.
- Perform Bank reconciliations, Balance sheet analysis, P&L Analysis, Fixed Asset accounting, Inter-company reconciliations as required.
- Assist local Statutory accounts booking, preparation of corporate tax filing and VAT returns.
- Assist internal control, policy, and process standardization with internal auditors.
- Prepare monthly bookings for deferred service revenue.
- Corroborate with Genpact team to facilitate smooth monthly closing.
Requirements
- Accounting degree or at least 3 years relevant experience.
- English language skills (written and preferably also spoken).
- Good interpersonal skills with experience of working in a diverse multi-national company environment.
- U.S. GAAP and JGAAP knowledge are an advantage.
- Experience of Oracle and Concur are an advantage.
- Experience of Power BI Report / Power Query are an advantage.
