About the Role
Join Hill Country OBGyn, an affiliate of Unified Women’s Healthcare of Texas, with offices in Austin and Dripping Springs, TX. This compassionate group provides a team approach to patient care, focusing on individualized and meaningful patient experiences. The established practice includes 8 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners, serving women in the Austin Metro area for over two decades. Clinic locations are in Austin and Dripping Springs, with deliveries and GYN surgeries performed at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, which features a Level 2 NICU, women’s health subspecialists, and hospitalist physicians. This opportunity is ideal for new OBGyns seeking mentorship and experienced Physicians looking to advance their careers. The practice is well-established and growing, with 2 clinic locations 12 miles apart. St. David’s South Austin offers a Level II NICU, women’s health subspecialists, hospitalist support, and daVinci capabilities. GYN surgeries can also be performed at St. David’s Austin Surgery Center.
Responsibilities
- Perform hospital call duties
- Manage a clinic patient census of approximately 25 patients per day
- Perform an average of 12-15 deliveries per month
Requirements
- Complete an OBGyn Residency from a USGME accredited program
- Be Board Certified or Board Eligible (if within 5 years of training completion)
- Possess an active, unrestricted TX medical license or ability to obtain one
- Hold a DEA license
- Live within a 30-mile radius of the hospital or utilize a dedicated call room
