About the Role

As Events Officer, you will play a vital role in building and protecting BaptistCare’s profile and brand through inspiring, engaging, and purposeful events and projects. You will thrive in a dynamic environment, seamlessly switching between event coordination and diverse projects, demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver engaging internal and external events that celebrate our mission and values.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, including senior leaders, volunteers, and external partners.
  • Manage logistics, registrations, and administration with strong attention to detail.
  • Support BaptistCare’s objectives, adapting to new projects and priorities as needed.
  • Be comfortable picking up and putting down projects, responding to changing needs with reliability and empowerment.

Requirements

  • At least three years’ experience in event coordination, ideally in a corporate or not-for-profit setting.
  • Strong project management, administrative, and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to BaptistCare’s values of Inclusivity, Accountability, Compassion, and Teamwork (IACT).
  • Experience liaising with senior stakeholders and managing event logistics.
  • A willingness to travel and adapt to new challenges.
  • Successful candidates will be subject to a variety of background checks including a national criminal history check, reference checks and, if applicable, WWCC, NDIS worker screening check and a pre-employment medical.
