About the Role
Seeking a Marketing Manager to support the Travel Insurance business across Canadian (B2B) and U.S. (direct-to-consumer) channels. This is a maternity leave coverage role requiring an autonomous marketer to quickly manage stakeholders and deliver marketing initiatives with minimal ramp-up. The individual will partner with distribution, product, and compliance teams, owning campaign execution, performance initiatives, and digital marketing coordination.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end marketing initiatives supporting travel insurance across B2B and DTC channels.
- Plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns (digital, paid, social, email, and traditional).
- Support travel agency distribution teams with marketing materials such as ads, sales tools, and one-pagers.
- Collaborate on paid and performance marketing initiatives, particularly for the U.S. online-only business.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure products are appropriately positioned and optimized for conversion.
- Track progress and effectiveness of marketing initiatives and recommend improvements.
- Act as the marketing lead for a U.S. travel insurance website refresh, coordinating between agencies, development teams, and business stakeholders.
- Provide marketing-driven input on messaging, CTAs, and customer experience.
- Serve as the central point of contact between distribution teams, product and compliance partners, and internal agencies and creative teams.
- Develop clear briefs and distill business needs into actionable marketing direction.
- Manage timelines, approvals, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on acquisition and conversion in the insurance industry.
- Proven experience executing and optimizing campaigns across digital channels, including paid search, paid social, display, and websites.
- Experience supporting B2B and/or DTC marketing, ideally within financial services or insurance related industries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable optimization recommendations.
- Familiarity with common performance marketing metrics (CPA, ROAS, CAC, conversion rate, funnel performance).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally and with agency partners.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Experience working with Canadian Travel Agencies is considered an asset.
- French bilingual fluency is considered an asset.
