About the Role
Lead strategic development, execution, and continuous improvement of faculty-led education programs and customer engagement initiatives within the Heart Failure division. Oversee Speaker’s Bureau planning and operations, ensure high-quality clinician education, and strengthen customer relationships. Apply advanced business and educational principles to design impactful programs, optimize processes, and drive cross-functional collaboration, championing efficiency, compliance, and best practices to elevate customer experience and support portfolio growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning, execution, and compliance oversight of the Speaker’s Bureau program across all regions.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop faculty speakers to ensure clinical excellence and message consistency.
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Compliance, Marketing, and Finance to maintain accurate speaker content, fee schedules, contracts, and documentation.
- Oversee scheduling, logistics, and quality assurance of all speaker programs (in‑person, virtual, hybrid).
- Monitor speaker performance and program impact; implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Design and deliver high‑quality educational experiences for clinicians, customers, and key accounts, aligned with business and clinical priorities.
- Oversee management of customer engagement events including advisory boards, trainings, workshops, immersive learning experiences, and peer‑to‑peer activities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Clinical, and Marketing partners to assess educational needs and tailor programs appropriately.
- Ensure all education content meets regulatory, compliance, and brand standards.
- Strengthen clinician relationships through meaningful, insights‑driven engagement and follow‑up.
- Support field teams with education resources, program planning, and customer-facing materials.
- Identify opportunities to expand reach, improve customer experience, and support adoption/retention of key technologies.
- Gather customer insights to inform marketing strategies and product education needs.
- Oversee budget planning, forecasting, and program spend to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Track KPIs, attendance, speaker utilization, engagement trends, and business impact; deliver reporting to leadership.
- Maintain accurate systems, records, and tools for Speaker’s Bureau management and customer programs.
- Drive operational improvements through process enhancements, technology utilization, and cross‑functional alignment.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to supporting roles, agencies, or vendors involved in program execution.
- Represent Professional Education in cross‑functional initiatives and strategic planning.
- Ensure smooth collaboration with Compliance, Legal, Sales Leadership, Medical Affairs, and Marketing partners.
Requirements
- Bachelors’ Degree in life sciences, engineering, nursing, or applicable educational field.
- 8+ years progressively responsible experience in technical education, with a demonstrated record of designing and administering field-based education programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide constructive feedback to build positive relationships for business results.
- Strong organizational, planning, follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in a broader enterprise in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
- Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Ability to travel approximately 30-40%.

- $113,300.00 – $226,700.00
