About the Role
Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships between Twitch and music partners (labels and third-party strategic partners). The Twitch Music team bridges the gap between Twitch, the music industry, and streamers. Create new relationships within the music and DJ communities, developing new business partnerships and deal structures. This highly cross-functional role involves working with internal teams (Operations, Programming, Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance) to support the overall Twitch Music strategy. The role requires travel and may include evening attendance at industry events and shows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and leverage external partner relationships to deepen Twitch engagement.
- Act as a Twitch ambassador and advocate within the music industry.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with select music labels to achieve growth goals on Twitch.
- Ensure content availability and drive continuous improvement in digital music operations.
- Develop and negotiate high-impact partnership deals with music operations and third-party strategic partners.
- Track and analyze partnership performance, developing optimization plans.
- Gather music partner feedback and incorporate it into product and marketing roadmaps.
- Maintain music cultural expertise by monitoring industry trends and identifying new opportunities.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in label relations, account management, product/project management, or sales/marketing, ideally at a record label/distributor, artist management agency, digital music service, or social media company.
- 3+ years in a business development or commercial role at a digital music/media organization.
- Exceptional knowledge of the music industry and digital media landscape.
- Excellent data analysis and quantitative skills, including business forecasting.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and cross-departmental communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Ability to interact with stakeholders across all levels of seniority.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
