About the Role
Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to standards and safety guidelines. Ensure all operations and member services meet and exceed expectations. Actively participate in service during both low and high-volume periods to support the team and uphold excellent service standards.
Responsibilities
- Uphold service standards as outlined in the training program.
- Oversee food and beverage service to members and guests, ensuring adherence to standards of excellence.
- Supervise service staff to ensure consistent service quality and exceptional member and guest experience.
- Accurately execute member and guest orders and special requests.
- Assist in implementing training and incentive programs for service excellence.
- Review reservation books and function sheets, ensuring room setups align with booking and event requirements.
- Initiate and complete opening and closing procedures for shifts.
- Inspect room cleanliness and setup for service or events.
- Document tasks and notes in the shift log for effective communication.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the al carte menu, daily features, and specials.
- Demonstrate clear understanding of all liquors, beers, and wines available.
- Actively participate in daily line-ups, weekly service trainings, and special training sessions.
- Ensure completion of daily assignments and side work, including maintaining clean, sanitary work areas and restocking supplies.
- Interact professionally with members and guests, accommodating changes and last-minute requests.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks.
- Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Represent management by supporting and enforcing policies, maintaining high ethics and integrity.
- Maintain professionalism and commitment to excellence in interactions.
- Promote and follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.
- Take initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain required certifications.
- Address and resolve challenges using available resources, collaborating with regional and corporate teams.
- Support team efficiency by collaborating and contributing to club goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the restaurant or club-related food & beverage industry.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases.
- Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding.
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity.
