About the Role

Responsibilities

Interact with guests, ensuring an engaging and memorable experience.
Maintain brand understanding, including production techniques, ingredient suppliers, and flavor profiles, to educate guests and provide recommendations.
Scoop ice cream portions according to shop standards.
Process transactions using POS, handle cash, and provide correct change.
Prepare, label, and store waffle batter and cones; operate waffle iron; maintain clean waffle station.
Adhere to shop, food quality, and safety standards, including cleaning and organizing.
Replenish retail products, freezers, paper goods, and supplies.
Consolidate ice cream tubs, replenish stock from walk-in freezer, and temper tubs.
Accurately pack Third-Party Delivery (TPD) orders according to company standards.
Answer phones, provide excellent service, and respond to inquiries.
Greet guests, manage line flow, answer questions, explain shop options, and promote online ordering and pint purchases.
Taste ice cream daily to effectively communicate flavor profiles to customers.

Requirements

Valid food handlers' card (required within 30 days of employment or per local requirement).
Experience in food service, fast-casual dining, or hospitality-focused industry (preferred).
Fluency in English.
Ability to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work at least 3 shifts per week, including 2 closing shifts.
