About the Role

This individual will assist in all project operations roles under the oversight of a project manager, with the goal of advancing to oversee their own projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
  • Prepare RFIs and submittals.
  • Conduct quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders.
  • Create and implement job schedules, coordinating with field supervisors and foremen.
  • Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation.
  • Support Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program.
  • Assist with other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience supporting or managing construction projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word).
  • Clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn and apply new technical job functions and skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask while handling multiple concurrent projects.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and initiative.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Possess critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline (preferred).
  • Experience managing specialty scopes of construction (preferred).
  • OSHA certification (preferred).
  • Local to Austin, TX (preferred).
