Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, operate, and monitor packaging equipment for optimal performance and efficiency
  • Accurately verify, document, and record production quantities
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management during shift handovers and daily operations
  • Ensure all packaged products meet food safety requirements and customer quality specifications
  • Perform routine, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on packaging equipment
  • Understand, follow, and comply with all safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Safely climb on trucks and railcars as required to support operational activities
  • Operate track mobile equipment to move railcars in accordance with safety and operating procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and business needs

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, loud noise, with personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to perform physical job duties including bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts, with advance notice

Skills

  • Basic computer use
  • Forklift operation experience
  • Operating machinery and/or industrial equipment
  • Performing routine, preventive, and troubleshooting maintenance on packaging equipment
  • Working around railcars and performing operational tasks such as equipment access and railcar movement
  • Using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Experience Level

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of forklift operation experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or military
  • Minimum of two years of equivalent relevant work experience

Education Level

  • High school diploma or GED

Salary/Compensations

  • $20/hour
  • $1500 Sign-On Bonus
