About the Role
The Caregiver supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. This role encourages resident independence, supports resident choice, and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.
Responsibilities
- Support residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health.
- Encourage resident independence, support resident choice, and preserve resident dignity through professional conduct.
- Exhibit a positive customer service attitude.
- Display personal initiative to complete work without constant supervision.
- Demonstrate consistent work attendance.
- Address work-related problems with appropriate individuals.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information.
- Participate in designated facility in-services.
- Help new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities.
Requirements
- Prior direct care experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Meet age requirements per facility policy and state regulations.
- CBRF Class Certifications: Standard Precautions, First Aid and Choking, Fire Safety.

Experience Level
- Prior direct care experience preferred
