About the Role
Lead a cross-functional team as an Agile Product Owner (APO) to deliver capabilities and solutions in an agile way. Act as the voice of the end-user, guiding day-to-day work to achieve defined outcomes. Drive the evolution of the Cyber Risk Scan product, critical for cyber underwriting across multiple business lines, and support loss mitigation efforts by identifying vulnerable policyholders. Collaborate with stakeholders from engineering, data science, actuary, underwriting, risk services, and threat intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Define work for a cross-functional product team, focusing on delivering business value quickly and iteratively.
- Act as the voice of the end-user by developing a deep understanding of user needs and pain points.
- Anticipate and proactively seek customer feedback, ensuring needs and requirements are clearly defined and the team’s work product meets acceptance criteria.
- Translate business strategies and needs into a product roadmap, defining team goals and strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Articulate team goals, strategy, and roadmap effectively to key stakeholders and team members.
- Structure and conduct analyses to inform requirement definition and work prioritization based on quantified business value.
- Make prioritization recommendations, supported by analysis and data, to the product team and stakeholders.
- Build proof-of-concepts and prototypes using tools, including AI, to validate concepts with end users and de-risk delivery.
- Gather requirements from end users, consumers, and data producers to map and define data and necessary transformations for the cyber data asset.
- Effectively manage a backlog of deliverables and capabilities, including 'test and learn' experimentation, measuring performance, and adjusting the roadmap.
- Own the team backlog, including prioritization and refinement, making trade-off decisions to maximize value.
- Hold the product team accountable for delivering business objectives by defining metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Inform and participate in business readiness, understanding change impact and managing adoption.
- Provide feedback on work-in-progress, clarify requirements, and contribute to removing roadblocks.
- Look for opportunities for continuous team and process improvement.
- Partner with key leaders and peers to determine resources required to achieve defined business outcomes.
- Share best practices across teams to ensure alignment and consistency in ways of working.
- Foster an innovative, inclusive, and diverse team environment, promoting positive culture, collaboration, and self-organization.
- May manage Agile Product Owners.
Requirements

- Two years of experience in Agile product management.
- Two years of work experience within the supported discipline (e.g., Claim, Risk Control, Technology, Project Management, Production, Application Development).
- Three years of experience articulating and translating business strategy, product vision, and analysis for a product.
- Three years of work experience in a related field.
- Three years of experience motivating/influencing teams.

Salary/Compensations
- $120,400.00 - $198,700.00
