About the Role
This role is for a driven individual who excels at building relationships, exceeding goals, and communicating effectively. The consultant will develop and maintain lasting partnerships with college professors, leveraging sales and communication skills. Responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, interviewing professors, and persuading author candidates to partner with Kendall Hunt Publishing to develop interactive and engaging educational materials for lower-level, higher-enrollment courses.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain lasting partnerships with college professors
- Interview, listen for business potential, and persuade select candidates to partner with the company
- Call and travel to colleges and universities in the territory to identify business opportunities
- Interview professors
- Persuade author candidates to become Kendall Hunt authors
- Identify challenges and develop practical solutions in real-time
- Manage responsibilities requiring substantial independent work while engaging in team collaboration
