About the Role
The Enrollment Manager supports the execution and implementation of recruitment plans for the assigned institution. This role manages day-to-day team operations to meet new student enrollment goals for multiple intakes. The manager coaches and trains enrollment outreach coordinators who assist prospective students through the application and enrollment process. The team collaborates with admissions, financial aid, and academic advising to nurture prospective students. This role also involves performance reviews, reporting, and analysis of key metrics and individual performance. Additionally, the Enrollment Manager creates and delivers ongoing training, develops comprehensive learning plans, manages training schedules, and ensures timely completion and documentation of mandatory training.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily functions of the enrollment team
- Influence by observation and diagnose areas needing additional training; provide coaching, mentoring, and process training
- Create and deliver documented product and sales training content for new and veteran enrollment advisors
- Develop strategies for enrollment department success
- Work with academics to communicate new policies and changes impacting enrollment
- Meet and exceed set enrollment targets regularly
- Work effectively with functional leaders across campus
- Prepare and analyze weekly performance metrics reports
- Perform quarterly reviews and submit annual reviews for approval
- Interview and hire new enrollment staff (Talent Management)
- Work on assigned committees and teams within the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of work experience in customer service and/or recruiting
- Experience in higher education enrollment/admissions is preferred
- Personal computer skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Working knowledge of some Internet applications
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to pull data from multiple systems, manipulate, and report findings and recommendations
