About the Role

The Geomatics team prioritizes accurate data, measuring, processing, and analyzing spatial data, and defining land boundaries. The team provides comprehensive Geomatics, surveying, and mapping services. This role ensures the preparation of accurate, complete, and value-added survey work products to meet client project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Sign and seal survey documents.
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate technical aspects of projects.
  • Manage survey projects.
  • Engage with clients to discuss projects, evaluate firm performance, and identify business opportunities.
  • Lead the team.
  • Coordinate field crew activities, including job assignments, direction, and work product checks.
  • Assist with business development, proposal preparation, project management, and QA/QC for surveys.
  • Perform data reduction and drafting of final survey products.
  • Supervise field crews to collect data utilizing GPS/GNSS and conventional survey techniques.
  • Ensure preparation of accurate, complete, and value-added survey work products.
  • Perform other assigned duties of a similar nature and level.

Requirements

  • Registered professional land surveyor.
  • Familiarity with boundary survey principles, Record Maps, Surveys, and ALTAs.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to supervise field crews.
  • Requires judgment in problem-solving and making routine recommendations.
