About the Role

Manage a portfolio of sub and non-performing commercial real estate loans and REOs. Interact with borrowers, third-party servicers, and attorneys, collaborating with the Special Servicing team to preserve company interests. Implement loan collection and mitigation plans, handle delinquent accounts, mitigate loan loss risk, preserve collateral, and document loan restructures.

Responsibilities

• Manage non-performing commercial real estate loans from foreclosure to REO disposition
• Analyze collateral and determine value
• Present and recommend resolution strategies to management
• Work directly with legal counsel and monitor legal progress and developments
• Oversee management of the REO portfolio
• Analyze real estate markets and cash flow properties
• Review and assess potential impact of borrower bankruptcy filings; ensure protection of bank’s creditor position
• Travel a minimum of 10-20%, if required
• Prepare and maintain a variety of management reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience in special servicing
• Experience with REO asset management
• Experience with commercial real estate
