About the Role
We are seeking a Post-production Producer (360° VR) to own the entire immersive post-production pipeline, from raw footage to final delivery. This role is for an experienced 360° VR video editor or immersive post-production specialist.
Responsibilities
- Operate the full 360° VR post-production process: stitching, color grading, compositing, finishing, and delivery in all required formats.
- Manage spatial audio post-production, including 3D audio editing, ambisonics processing, and coordination with the sound team.
- Maintain and develop the post-production pipeline, including proxy workflows, file structures, naming conventions, and status tracking.
- Ensure quality control at all production stages, including technical QC for image and audio, and compliance with delivery specifications.
- Collaborate with the Senior Postproduction Manager, content team, and tech teams, providing feedback on timelines, materials, and specifications.
- Support productions on-set when necessary, understanding camera setups and post-production requirements.
- Act as the final point of review before submission for all productions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in 360° VR or immersive post-production, with a track record of independently managing projects from start to finish.
- Proficiency with Mistika VR for stitching and optical flow.
- Expertise in DaVinci Resolve for color grading and finishing.
- Skilled in After Effects for compositing, effects, and equirectangular workflows.
- Solid understanding of 3D spatial audio workflows (Ambisonics, Dolby Atmos, binaural rendering).
- Experience with proxy workflows and large file pipelines (RAW, ProRes, 8K+).
- Ability to organize raw footage for team collaboration.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Microsoft Planner, Notion, or Confluence.
- Hands-on approach with a focus on editing rather than meetings.
- Precise and quality-conscious with a keen eye for detail.
- Resilient and able to perform under pressure in fast-paced live production environments.
- Genuine enthusiasm for immersive media and spatial audio.
- Communicative and reliable, ensuring transparency on project status.
- Fluent in business-level English and German.
- Approximately 25% travel required for on-set productions, events, and partner meetings.
