Responsibilities

  • Own off-page SEO end to end, including link building, digital PR, partnerships, guest contributions, and relationship building for durable authority.
  • Own Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to ensure Firecrawl is cited by LLMs when developers seek web scraping, LLM-ready data, or agent infrastructure solutions.
  • Track LLM citations, analyze content pulled, and implement a compounding GEO strategy.
  • Build a backlink acquisition system, including target lists, outreach sequences, response tracking, and performance measurement for Domain Rating (DR) and referral traffic.
  • Run digital PR by pitching Firecrawl to relevant developer publications, newsletters, podcasts, and roundups.
  • Partner with the content team on linkable assets such as original research, benchmarks, and technical deep-dives.
  • Monitor brand mentions, unlinked mentions, and competitor citations, converting opportunities and learning from missed ones.
  • Report weekly on performance metrics including domains acquired, LLM citation share, referral traffic, and share of voice on target queries.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in SEO with significant off-page ownership at a technical or developer-facing product.
  • US Citizenship/Visa required.
  • Proven ability to build backlinks at scale and run digital PR campaigns, demonstrating results in domains acquired, DR lift, and referral traffic.
  • Deep expertise in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), including tracking LLM citations and developing strategies for brand citation.
  • Experience engaging technical or developer audiences, understanding effective strategies for developer tools and relevant community platforms.
  • Strong outreach skills, capable of crafting effective pitches and building professional relationships.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage the off-page function independently.
