About the Role
Lead the EMEA Tour Ticketing Department, coordinating ticketing for European tours, maximizing sales, and providing expert advice for Live Nation Touring events across the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the tour ticketing team, ensuring staff development and training.
- Allocate and manage tour assignments and staffing levels.
- Oversee the quality and scheduling of tour on-sale management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with tour-wide ticket agents, including the Ticketmaster EMEA touring team.
- Ensure the tour ticketing team meets KPIs, goals, and best practices set by the SVP and VP of Touring.
- Provide monthly performance reports.
- Support the SVP of Ticketing and VP of Touring in setting team OKRs and performance objectives.
- Ensure collaborative alignment with the wider touring team, regional ticketing, and revenue strategy.
- Identify and implement ticketing operational efficiency improvements with touring, local ticketing, and ticket agent EMEA teams.
- Run and manage tour ticketing for select high-demand tours.
- Report on on-sale performance for major on-sales to executive level.
Requirements
- Previous experience in live event ticketing within the music industry at a senior touring level (local or international) is essential.
- Experience managing complex teams during high-demand periods.
- Ability to lead and drive KPIs.
- Uses interpersonal skills to establish excellent rapport and working relationships with stakeholders at varying levels.
- Maintains good commercial awareness and understands business drivers.
- Uses initiative to identify issues and create solutions for the team.
- Highly self-motivated and takes ownership for the team's technical and personal skills development.
