About the Role
Support transactions for Cushman & Wakefield’s Investment Sales brokerage, specializing in multifamily investments. Perform financial analysis, including pricing, Excel valuation model creation and auditing, due diligence, market data collection, and translating findings into high-level summaries under senior oversight. Team members may be expected to work outside normal operating hours to meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of MAG Broker team financial analysis and valuation modeling requests, including scenario analyses.
- Prepare pro forma statements, discounted cash flow analyses, and Excel-based financial models considering current and historical market conditions.
- Conduct audits of existing financial models for accuracy of inputs and validity of assumptions.
- Perform extensive research, including reviewing financial reports, studying comparable properties, and collecting demographic and market information; synthesize findings clearly and concisely.
- Develop high-level analysis summaries by identifying transaction considerations, trends, outliers, and logical inconsistencies.
- Assist with drafting and preparing Offering Memorandums, Broker Opinion of Value, and Request for Proposals.
- Communicate professionally with clients during the sales process, assisting with marketing timelines, tour scheduling, and weekly activity reports.
- Demonstrate continual development of cash flow and Excel-modeling skills and competencies, with deliverables increasing in complexity and scope over time.
- Prepare clear, concise summary documentation and spreadsheets supporting analyses for client presentations, proposals, and reports.
- Review tenant leases to abstract key data points and identify issues impacting real estate financial analysis for mixed-use opportunities.
- Maintain owner database and track loan maturities for Business Development.
- Maintain rent and sales comparable database.
- Review analyses with the deal team, answer clarifying questions, and make accurate revisions.
- Participate in internal and external stakeholder meetings to present and discuss analyses.
- Assist with market research of prospective transactions.
- Participate in broker team calls and meetings as needed.
- Perform other related duties as required or requested.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of financial analysis and Excel modeling experience.
- Experience with creating or constructing discounted cash flow models in Excel.
- Client-service oriented mindset with a passion for producing high-quality work, meeting deadlines, and client expectations.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to write effectively and succinctly for marketing deliverables and internal stakeholders.
- Good time management and organization skills.
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Growth-oriented mindset, desire to learn more, and willingness to share knowledge to help others succeed.

- $72,250.00 - $85,000.00
