About the Role
This role supports the day-to-day operations of a fast-moving, global legal team in Legora's New York office. The Paralegal will ensure legal processes, documentation, and internal workflows run smoothly and efficiently. This highly operational and coordination-focused position involves creating structure, organizing tasks, and driving execution in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing legal documentation, coordinating signatures and filings, maintaining corporate records, and supporting governance processes across multiple jurisdictions and time zones. Legora's legal function is an AI-first team, acting as trusted partners to the business, focusing on product development, operations, and commercial initiatives, and valuing scalable ways of working through AI, automation, and technology.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage legal documentation, signatures, approvals, and filing processes
- Maintain and organize corporate records, legal templates, governance documents, and internal databases
- Support entity management, corporate housekeeping, and corporate filings across jurisdictions
- Assist with preparation of board materials, resolutions, powers of attorney, and other governance-related documentation
- Manage contract administration and help track agreements, renewals, and obligations
- Support the legal team with internal processes, operational coordination, and day-to-day administrative matters
- Help improve legal processes, document management, and operational efficiency using AI-tools and legal tech solutions
Requirements
- Education in law, paralegal studies, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Paralegal or in a similar legal support or legal operations role
- Highly organized, structured, and detail-oriented, with strong administrative and coordination skills
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, reliable, and enjoys taking ownership of processes and follow-through
- Excited about AI-native ways of working and proactively uses technology and automation to improve workflows, execution, and efficiency
- Experience supporting corporate governance, entity management, contract administration, or legal operations is a strong plus
- Experience from a technology company, scale-up, or international environment is a strong plus
