About the Role
As a co-op student, you will work on meaningful projects that support our operations and give you hands-on experience in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. Join S&C to make an impact on tomorrow’s energy challenges!
Responsibilities
- Supporting quality improvement projects
- Ensuring changes to processes and drawings are complete
- Monitoring operational performance metrics
- Summarizing and presenting reports
- Identification of operational issues
- Conducting root cause analysis and corrective action identification (problem-solving activity)
- Supporting process owners with change management
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree/diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
- Registered in a co-op program and available for an 8 or 12-month placement starting in Fall 2026
- Key interest in engineering design and manufacturing
- Some manufacturing experience is an asset
- Proficient in Visual Basic
- Excellent communication skills
- A team player
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
