About the Role

Join the Global Consolidations Team to play a key role in the Accounting and Finance department during a period of process transformation. This high-visibility role involves monthly consolidation of global results, coordinating information flow from worldwide business units to finance teams and upper management. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, relationship-building skills, and a thorough understanding of Peloton's business and legal entity model, serving as an outstanding mentor and leader in a high-growth, deadline-driven environment. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Global Consolidations, and involves managing multiple projects and maintaining effective communication with business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly consolidation of domestic and international subsidiaries' general ledgers in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Review and document intercompany transactions and balances to ensure proper elimination upon consolidation
  • Analyze the impact of realized and unrealized foreign currency movements on the business
  • Continuously assess the consolidation close process and implement controls to improve consistency and accuracy of reported results
  • Implement AI-based automations and efficiencies in the consolidations process
  • Review international reporting package submissions
  • Proactively manage a department in a fast-growing, fast-paced environment, keeping team priorities on track and working cross-functionally to acquire relevant information
  • Develop, expand, and improve month-end close and financial reporting procedures, driving reduction of the close timeline by streamlining activities
  • Support year-end financial statement audit and statutory audits
  • Assist with special projects, ERP improvements, internal controls, and ad hoc analyses

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with a mix of private and public accounting experience
  • Direct experience in a global consolidations role, preferred
  • Education or comparable professional experience in Accounting or a related field
  • Active CPA license required
  • Proven track record managing and developing direct reports
  • Experience with a Big 4 firm and/or SEC-registered company
  • Highly organized, meticulous self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Able to work effectively with all levels of an organization and maintain relationships with external parties
  • Knowledge of or experience with AI tools, a plus
  • Strong Excel skills, comfortable analyzing and manipulating large data sets
  • Ability to effectively communicate clear and concise ideas both verbally and in writing
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience in a high-growth global organization
