About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior People/HR Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract starting in July. You will work with the HRD to support 170 staff in the London office, acting as a trusted advisor and business partner. This role requires someone who can quickly build trust, bring warmth, and contribute effectively in a fast-moving, creative environment.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, providing a genuine voice in people development.
- Act as the go-to Business Partner for the London employee base.
- Coach and support managers through the full spectrum of people matters with calm and pragmatism.
- Proactively address and thoughtfully navigate employee relations issues.
- Collaborate with leaders to identify L&D opportunities and develop impactful learning plans.
- Provide clear, consistent, and fair guidance on HR/Talent matters to employees and managers.
- Stay informed on employment law and the HR landscape to ensure policies are current and relevant.
- Champion culture and wellbeing initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
- Manage employee lifecycle administration.
- Contribute to people projects, such as internship programs.
Requirements
- Significant senior HR generalist experience.
- Experience in a creative, design, or agency environment is essential.
- Ability to build relationships and connect with people at all levels.
- Sharp commercial instincts and understanding of how people strategy drives business performance.
- Solutions-first mindset.
- Comfortable using data to inform decisions and build compelling cases.
- Strong conflict resolution skills and emotional intelligence.
- High energy and self-sufficiency, with the ability to start quickly.
- Resilience and resourcefulness.
