About the Role

Modern Thyroid Clinic is the leading thyroid specialty healthcare provider in the United States, helping patients navigate health journeys and find answers. The Discovery Call Specialist is the initial point of contact for prospective patients, conducting complimentary Zoom calls to listen, build trust, answer questions, provide reassurance, and determine if the clinic is the right fit. This role requires high empathy, a kind demeanor, strong communication, and the ability to guide meaningful conversations without pressure.

Responsibilities

Conduct complimentary discovery calls via Zoom with camera on
Create a safe, supportive space for prospective patients
Build trust through warmth, patience, and genuine care
Clearly explain telehealth care, costs, expectations, and provider differences
Provide reassurance for health-related decisions
Guide conversations to the best outcome for the patient
Warmly invite suitable prospective patients to begin care
Apply a consultative, question-led onboarding approach
Represent Modern Thyroid Clinic's mission, values, and culture

Requirements

Prior relevant experience conducting discovery calls or helping patients/clients make confident care decisions
Prior experience in consultative, question-led, trust-based onboarding
Excellent, articulate, warm, and clear verbal communication skills
Comfortable and polished appearing on Zoom with camera on
High empathy and emotional maturity to support individuals' fears and hopes
Ability to connect easily with struggling individuals, particularly women navigating difficult health journeys
Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week
Authorized to work in the United States and verifiable through E-Verify
Reliable high-speed internet
Professional, distraction-free environment suitable for video calls
Familiarity with a consultative, question-led sales or decision-guidance philosophy (e.g., Jeremy Miner's approach)
