About the Role
Supervise Housekeeping and Front Desk Departments. Ensure overall success of the front desk, guest satisfaction, and product quality standards are met or exceeded. Flexible scheduling availability may be required.
Responsibilities
- Ensure departments meet or exceed guest service expectations.
- Prepare team member schedules based on budgets and business forecasts.
- Ensure hotel staff training in financial control procedures (cash, vouchers, inventories, receivables) and adherence.
- Recommend local attractions and restaurants to guests.
- Inform guests of all hotel services and amenities.
- Assist with check-in/check-out, telephone procedures, hotel amenities, and computer systems.
- Manage human resources functions: recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, training, and disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate with other departments for smooth operational flow.
- Monitor daily bookings to coordinate with the front desk and guests during oversold situations.
