About the Role
United Ag & Turf NE is seeking an Inventory Facility Coordinator to track whole goods inventory, maintain store facilities, lot, and grounds, and support employees and customers with equipment loading and unloading while ensuring organization and safety.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for whole goods inventory presentation, accuracy, tracking, and accountability.
- Maintain accurate store whole goods inventory using tracking systems and processes.
- Receipt all whole goods into DIT within 24 hours of arrival.
- Place DIT stickers and take pictures of serial numbers, bills of lading, packing slips, and machine corners.
- Aggregate attachments to base units post-setup/install.
- Ensure 100% compliance for DIT sticker usage and accuracy.
- Apply DIT stickers to all new/used machines, attachments, field kits, and factory-installed/removable base coded items.
- Complete in/out checks on whole goods during movement.
- Document all equipment movement with pictures and updated hours, including detailed pictures for rentals, loaners, and demos.
- Document all items arriving or departing the facility.
- Complete DIT inventory verification and whole goods financial audits within designated timeframes.
- Conduct monthly DIT self-audits for accountability and accuracy.
- Monitor daily/weekly reports and resolve open issues promptly.
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain an organized lot and notify management of supply and tooling needs.
- Maintain organized lot and storage areas with dedicated staging for inventory management and DIT usage.
- Monitor and reorder staging and DIT supplies.
- Stage deliveries for completion and readiness.
- Ensure all sale components are staged, aggregated, and ready for DIT checkout.
- Organize service repairs.
- Stage whole goods units requiring service in dedicated areas, ensuring all components are marked and staged.
- Follow up on service work, aggregate attachments/kits, and move equipment to the next staging area.
- Communicate rental, loaner, or demo damages/repairs to GM and Service Manager upon equipment return.
- Unload and load equipment for delivery.
- Serve as primary branch contact for loading/unloading whole goods, ensuring DIT compliance and accurate receipt verification via packing lists.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Perform facility maintenance, including lawn mowing, parking lot cleaning, and shoveling (as per Region Manager discretion).
- Pressure wash equipment for customer readiness.
- Ensure whole goods inventory is clean, presentable, pressure washed, and in working order if on display.
- Assist in maintaining the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
- Start each piece of yard equipment every 30-45 days for 15-20 minutes, following battery switch protocols.
- Provide backup as a delivery driver when required.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment
- Understanding of rigging equipment for proper lifting
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated
- Ability to exceed customer expectations with a 'Yes We Can' attitude
- Forklift certified
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands/fingers to operate a computer keyboard and telephone
- Close vision
- Sufficient hearing for in-person or phone communication
- Ability to lift light to moderate items (up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, and bend
