We are seeking a Communications and Engagement intern to join our high performing and diverse team in our London office. You will be eager to learn, motivated to grow, and thrive as part of a collaborative team. In this dynamic role, you will contribute to internal communication initiatives by helping to disseminate critical updates and providing support for employee engagement programs such as Townhalls, intranet sites, and leadership communications. You will support the Change and Communications Practice Line lead on design and delivery of Client Engagement plans, to drive lead gen and cross sell for Professional Services, Working alongside expert travel consultants you will play a pivotal role supporting revenue delivery across our Practice Lines. You will support engagements within our Communications Practice Lines. Alongside delivery work you will be responsible for creating operating model efficiencies through equipping the Amex GBT Consulting team with comprehensive communication and tools and strategic assets, enabling exceptional and consistent client deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate to produce resources to support internal communication initiatives including newsletters, Townhalls, Intranet sites, and leadership communications.
- Produce a variety of engaging, polished communication materials to support internal and external communications.
- Provide communications expertise to support the delivery of change management and communications engagements.
- Support the creation of a training plan to drive cross-skill into change management and communications.
- Work with consultants to design and deliver templated best practice change management and communication assets to support a variety of client deliverables.
- Collect sample communications and change management assets and organize them for easy access by the Amex GBT Consulting team.
- Collaborate to produce resources to support the creation and execution of an external, client engagement plan.
Requirements
- 3 days a week Onsite in London GBT office
- 2+ years study or work experience in fields requiring copywritten communication.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to write compelling, concise communications using a variety of tools.
- Capability to quickly understand briefs and translate them into effective communications.
- An eye for visual design and outstanding attention to detail.
- Curious and innovative mentality and conceptual thinking.
- Highly self-motivated and self-organized, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
- Work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution.
