About the Role
Drive growth across the Olink proteomics portfolio by developing strategic relationships with customers in academia, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and contract research organizations. Identify customer needs, deliver consultative scientific solutions, and build long-term partnerships that enable customer success and business growth. This role combines scientific expertise, strategic account management, and business development to expand Olink’s presence in the proteomics and biomarker discovery market.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth across the Olink MidPlex and HighPlex portfolio
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across academia, pharma, biotech, and CRO segments
- Manage existing and new biomarker discovery and proteomics projects
- Deliver scientific and technical presentations on Olink technologies and applications
- Provide consultative support and study design guidance in collaboration with Field Application Scientist teams
- Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in Salesforce CRM
- Monitor pipeline performance using data and analytics tools
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitive products, and customer workflows
- Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize commercial success and customer satisfaction
- Travel within assigned territory to support customer engagement
Requirements
- Knowledge and/or experience in proteomics, immunoassays, biomarker discovery, and translational research
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organization
- Willingness to travel up to 50–75% within assigned territory
- Ability to understand English-based product trainings and materials, and to conduct business reviews, presentations, and discussions in English
