About the Role

RBC Capital Markets is seeking energetic, bright, and talented undergraduates for our Global Markets Summer Internship Program in Sydney. This 10-week program provides opportunities and professional development for interns to gain meaningful work experience, including goal setting, mentoring, and a formal review process. Successful interns may be considered for graduate positions upon graduation.

Responsibilities

  • Work on real projects that provide hands-on experiences, deep insights into business operations, and valuable contacts.
  • Collaborate with leaders who support development through coaching and career management.
  • Participate in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team environment.
  • Access world-class training to learn about businesses and develop career-enhancing skills.
  • Engage in initiatives that create positive social and economic impact in communities.
  • Gain practical experience across various asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies, and Central Funding on the trading floor.
  • Collaborate with Equity Research to understand market structure and strategies.
  • Gain exposure to Debt Capital Markets, Securitization, and Risk Solution transactions.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be in their penultimate year of study.
  • Candidates must be Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents or eligible to work in Australia.
