About the Role

We are seeking a Social Worker for our Alcohol and Medication Counseling Center and the Therapeutically Supervised Individual Living (BEW). Our team in Spandau is looking forward to reinforcement! The facility is centrally located and well-connected to public transport (U/S-Bahn Spandau). We offer diverse opportunities in project design. You have the chance to work independently and flexibly while benefiting from teamwork.

Responsibilities

Counseling people with substance use disorders and their relatives
Support within the framework of therapeutically supervised individual living
Promotion of social participation
Willingness for outreach and follow-up work
Design of group and leisure activities

Requirements

A completed degree in Social Work or a comparable qualification is a prerequisite.
Interest in regular professional exchange and continuous professional development.
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
Intercultural counseling competence.
Basic willingness for outreach activities to a small extent, e.g., in correctional facilities or clinics.
An accepting and open-minded basic attitude.
Professional experience is welcome but not a must.

€49,000 - €57,500 gross per year for a full-time position
