About the Role
The Academic Success Manager will focus on building relationships within the academic community, establishing and managing strategic relationships with key academic partnership stakeholders, and working with product and engineering teams to implement innovative solutions within academia. The ideal candidate is a self-starter passionate about finding solutions to strengthen AVEVA's relationship with the academic community and become an influencer in this market.
Responsibilities
- Build and foster relationships with academic institutions by presenting AVEVA’s offerings and endorsing them by embedding our software into the university’s curriculums.
- Improve existing engagements with academia by driving adoption of existing and new AVEVA solutions.
- Gather and research information to solve academia inquiries using internal tools and escalation.
- Grow the region in terms of partnerships and adoption of core products and cloud solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive program progress against goals and objectives.
- Facilitate the flow of information between all parties involved in the academic program.
- Create alignment around priorities for the academic program.
- Propose ideas and execution plans for educational onboarding across legal, commercial, pricing, and licensing.
- Define, develop, and lead complex projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Manage and provide direction to academic partners.
- Define and quantify a suitable delivery strategy using commercial and business development skills.
- Familiarize universities with AVEVA solutions to optimize and enhance their education programs/curriculum.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in the industrial software world.
- Significant experience with engineering solutions within the industrial marketplace.
- Ability to work effectively with academic partners.
- Good understanding of the scope of current products and service offerings from AVEVA.
- Deep knowledge of business processes, information flow, and management practices for the marketplace.
- Experience defining, developing and leading complex projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Experience in communicating with cross-functional international teams.
