About the Role

ConnectSydney is seeking an ITS/Electrical Works Scheduler to join their Rockdale team. This role is responsible for providing optimized programming and scheduling for projects from conversion through to delivery, coordinating daily workloads, monitoring progress, and implementing contingency plans to meet performance targets. The role also fosters collaboration and drives process improvements for operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day scheduling and forecasting of workloads for ITS and work crews.
  • Develop and maintain programs for ITS Maintenance, including planned maintenance, minor upgrades, fault and incident response, and repairs across a diverse range of asset classes and roadside electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Ensure Work Order details align with allocated resources and are achievable, optimizing sequencing to minimize customer impacts.
  • Ensure all KPI-related jobs are scheduled and delivered on time, in line with contractual and performance obligations.
  • Develop strong relationships with the Delivery team, Environmental team, and Customer and Stakeholder teams.
  • Liaise with field staff, Customer and Operations centre staff, Work Supervisors, and Customer & Stakeholder teams.
  • Prepare accurate estimates to complete work assigned.
  • Regularly review existing processes and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Previous industry experience necessary (ITS / Electrical background and experience).
  • Electrical license.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • 2-3 years minimum experience working in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of TfNSW Road Maintenance and ITS Asset Management systems and Network works delivery.
  • Experience working on TfNSW electrical, electronic, and communications assets.
