About the Role

This role is pivotal in executing impactful local oncology marketing strategies and driving brand success in Japan. You will play a key role in shaping our marketing initiatives to support current and future product launches.

Responsibilities

  • Executing brand marketing strategies and providing valuable input into their development.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement promotional campaigns aligned with the brand plan.
  • Analyzing market dynamics, competitive actions, and brand performance to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Developing and executing external stakeholder engagement plans, including national congresses and healthcare professional (HCP) meetings.
  • Creating local promotional materials that align with local and global brand strategies for use by the sales force and digital channels.
  • Partnering with the Sales Team to develop and execute field plans of action, regional sales meetings, and field communications.
  • Managing the local brand planning process, including competitive landscape analysis, promotional opportunity identification, and message development.
  • Monitoring and managing the promotional budget to ensure alignment with approved allocations.
  • Upholding the highest ethical and compliance standards in all activities.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree and at least six years of progressive, relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of five years of sales representative experience with a strong track record, including three years in oncology.
  • Intermediate written and spoken English language skills.
  • Working knowledge of local healthcare compliance codes and promotional activity regulations.
  • Comfortable traveling (30-40%) and attending occasional weekend conferences or meetings.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas and plans.
