About the Role

Service Stream is seeking an experienced ITS Construction Manager to manage the design and construction of intelligent transport systems projects across Australia. This role involves managing the entire construction lifecycle from planning to handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The position is based in Rockdale and requires night shift work once project commencement begins.

Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and deliver ITS Construction to meet client requirements and contractual obligations.
Develop and maintain construction schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
Manage construction stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Develop and manage construction documentation, including plans, reports, and change management documentation.
Ensure all construction deliverables meet required quality standards.
Manage construction resources, including staff, contractors, and subcontractors.
Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
Monitor and report on construction progress, risks, and issues.
Maintain effective communication with construction team members, clients, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

Strong construction management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and resource management.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex ITS Construction from inception to completion.
Experience in managing multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage construction team members.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards relating to ITS design and construction in Australia.
Familiarity with project management software tools and systems.
