About the Role
This business-critical role leads the improvement and management of site compliance, quality, and food safety standards, as well as the development of the QA team. You will drive a culture of quality by engaging all levels of the business and thrive in a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement Quality & Food Safety strategies that align with business goals.
- Maintain and enhance QA systems, documentation, and GMP programs.
- Drive continuous improvement across hygiene, sanitation, and compliance initiatives.
- Coach, mentor, and develop your QA team with clear growth and succession plans.
- Champion safety and regulatory compliance, ensuring audit readiness and proactive improvement.
Requirements
- Proven QA management experience in FMCG or food manufacturing.
- Proven ability to develop your team and upskill those around you.
- Experience leading audits, quality improvement, and change initiatives.
- A leadership style that’s visible, collaborative, and people-focused.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Quality Systems, HACCP, and SQF standards.
