About the Role
The Wine Concierge serves as the primary point of contact for guests at Aperi at Paggi House, guiding them through the wine and charcuterie experience. This role involves assisting guests with wine selection, processing purchases, and providing attentive service to create a welcoming and memorable experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and serve as the primary host for the Aperi experience.
- Assist guests in selecting wines with knowledgeable recommendations.
- Process guest purchases accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Open and present wine bottles, providing appropriate glassware.
- Offer and sell charcuterie and other Aperi menu items.
- Maintain presentation and organization of the Aperi service area, including wine displays, glassware, and service stations.
- Communicate with Banquet and hotel leadership regarding guest needs, inventory, or operational issues.
- Ensure guests depart with a positive and memorable experience.
- Perform other duties as requested by leadership.
Requirements
- Prior customer service experience in the hospitality industry.
- Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Must be able to stand at least 90% of the time.
- Work primarily in an indoor environment (95%).
